I am sorry for not being more active here, and not replying or commenting to notes or things. or acknowledging things on which people that have tagged me, or have made some really great art that deserves attention. There is a reason for that.

Some of you know Doc and I, some more than others, especially the older folks that have been around the net for a while. After a lot of years (lots and lots), we are going our own way. I don't mean to advertise a bunch of personal drama on DA of all places or go all facebook here, but I wanted to explain why I've not been around and why I haven't replied or commented. It's a really hard time now and I am really not in the mindset for art. I will probably be away from DA and similar places while working through things and going down this new path. I hope you all keep creating and being so wonderful.

I am sorry that I have not written people back or commented on so many amazing pieces of art that have been put on there on DA by so many talented people. I am taking a little break to deal with some things here. I will be away until after the first of the year, I think, at least.

I have always been amazingly fortunate that so many talented artists have taken time out of their busy lives to share a picture of Ultra Woman. It's always been so humbling to me. I had to share this version of Ultra Woman by :iconZomgzilla: She looks great! If you like it, please go let him know!

Right now I have about ten ideas I have running around in my head and I can't focus on any three, much less any one. I start working on one idea, piddle with it for a while, then get inspired by a different idea, piddle with that one, then find another thing to try. I am moderately obsessed with the old Wonder Woman TV show again, which I go through phases like this, so there's lots of wanting to try Ultra Woman versions of scenes from it, or alternate universe ideas and so on. What if an Amazon (who just happens to be blonde, of course) is sent out to rescue Diana when she is captured by Nazis/Skrill/etc.?, which is one of many ideas that kind of run through my head. What about Ultra Woman meeting the villains of her large Rogue's Gallery that I haven't explored in a while? Should I do something naughty that I never could possibly put on DA without being censored into oblivion? Have I done too many of one kind of picture? Have I been too dark/too light recently and need to try the other? Ugh.

I mean, here's a little contact sheet of ideas I've toyed with and set aside, and this is maybe only half of the ideas I've had and dropped in the last few months. Zodiac villains? HYDRA? Evil gargantua mutant gorilla? Dimensional crossovers? Ughhhhhh.

Oh well! I'm sure I will come up with three more ideas before the weekend! I have a few wonderfully creative friends I chat with on Discord that really inspire me too. Sometimes that helps with this weird fantasy artworks adhd.

I am not sure why exactly I am posting this, but I thought I'd share it. I'm sure there are many other people out there with similar problems. I find people that can focus on an entire story over months and months to be amazing. I don't know how they do it. Until I can figure that out, I will continue to post random bits of art as the inspiration hits. At least until the next inspiration happens.
