Wonder Woman, Season Four: The Cult! #2

Back in the 70s when cornered, Diana would have had time to say something flippant and throw a book at the moronic thugs that had cornered her, allowing her to escape, change into Wonder Woman, and return to capture the baffled thugs. But nowadays, the thugs are not moronic, they are enhanced by modern science and turned into mindless cultists obeying the whims of their master.

Before Agent Prince can say anything, the cultist plowed his fist into her perfect cheek, rocking Diana to her core. Her head snapped around, following a moment later by her ponytail and the rest of her body as her glasses flew across the office...

I decided this is something I wanted to explore a little more. Diana never seemed very dangerous without her belt usually, although I do not know the shows as well as others here. I imagine she has had her Amazon strength all of her life, was faster and stronger and tougher than any of the other Amazons, so she may not have had to train as hard as the others. So...without her belt, trapped by two monstrous scientifically altered thugs instead of the dumb minions she had met in the past, Diana is in dire trouble...
