"Julia, you are brave beyond your 64 years," Ultra Woman replied to her daughter. "You would fear no fight with man, woman or beast. It is your lack of experience that concerns me." Julia felt the pain of bruised pride. She had visited her mother once before in the outside world and had fallen in love with it. The sounds, the sights, the adventures! Plus her mother was one of the most famous of all Amazons...all women in the world! To be Ultra Woman would be Julia's dream, but she would never think to supplant her mother. But if she could become a costumed superheroine and have those incredible adventures...and by the way meet some handsome heroes...Julia would risk anything! All she had to do now was convince her mother. Ultra Woman, on the other hand, had never told her daughter about all her adventures. Julia did not know about the most deviant and twisted villains and their sick plots. And if Ultra Woman had her way, her daughter would never learn...nor experience...them! |
