It was late at night when Julia slipped into the pantheon. The massive temple was the center of the Amazon village and gleamed of white marble in the pale moonlight. She slipped past the guards with ease; she has learned stealth from the best of all the Amazon scouts, her mother Tania. She moved through the shadowy columns through the main temple until she was padding softly down a side hallway.
There were no doors; there were no thieves and the weather was always wonderful, so there was no need for them. Julia slipped into the portal chamber without anyone noticing.
Julia had watched her mother use the portal enough as Ultra Woman came and went from the island to know how it worked.
Minutes later, the portal glowed with a light blue energy and Julia stepped through it.
Blinking her eyes on the other side, Julia put a hand up to block the bright sun shining down on her. "How strange!" she thought to herself. "It is daylight here, and night at home?"
As her eyes adjusted, she had to quickly look around as a car went down the street just a few feet away. She jumped back from the vehicle that seemed to zoom past at breakneck speed.
She had been here twice before to visit her mother, so Julia tried to calm herself and slow her heartrate. The only difference, she told herself, was that now she was on her own.
Seeing a couple staring at her from across the street, with their denim jeans and long sleeve shirts, she looked down at her Amazon tunic waving in the breeze. As an Amazon, she was not really bothered by the cool autumn winds.
Now that she thought about it, Julia had no idea how to find her mother's home here in this gigantic city. Megapolis had a population of 10 million, which was only about 10,000 times more than her Amazon village.
She had to find her mother, but after seeing the couple on the opposite sidewalk, Julia wanted something else: a costume. She loved her mother's Ultra Woman uniform, and now she wanted to be Ultra Girl. That was her dearest dream, to be Ultra Girl in this amazing city full of so much excitement and danger!
But...how to find her mother's home? Or...breakfast? She needed money; Julia did know that.
Her youthful, 65 year old face lit up: Ultra Man! He was mother's best friend and mother had told Julia about all the adventures of Ultra Woman and Ultra Man. He would help her!
...and, Julia thought, maybe more than just help. With the body, and hormones, of a 19 year old girl in the big city for the first time without her mother's chaperoning, Julia was going to have some fun until she had to go home!

First thing that happens is she stands next to the street, and a car comes by, splashing her outfit, turning it transparent.
