Night on the Town

As she stood in front of the mirror and added some blush to her cheeks, Tania smiled to herself. She was still having trouble believing that she was actually going to go out and just have fun for an evening. Normally she would be out as Ultra Woman, hunting down some supervillain or underworld threat. If not that, she would be at her antiquities shop doing some kind of mundane work.

The city had been quiet for a couple of weeks and her office work was caught up. So when her wonderful friend Michelle called and asked her to go out on the town, Tania found herself unable to refuse the offer.

Looking into the mirror, she smirked at herself as she applied mascara. No Amazon would ever wear makeup, but she had to fit in here. As she did the things that women of this city would do, it made her feel guilty. Was she enjoying this more than she should? Should she not be the stoic warrior and go out on patrol like others were probably doing this second? Perhaps...but it was too late now. Michelle, or Star Spangled Girl as the world knew her, would arrive in minutes and Tania could imagine the disappointment her friend would have if Tania reneged. Michelle wanted to show Tania *her* world, the nightlife of the city where Michelle Fox was right at home.

The Amazon walked out of the bathroom in her plain white bra and panties. Tania knew there were sexier undies to wear, but she did not plan on anyone seeing anything beneath her dress tonight!

Tania grinned to herself, "Unless Ultra Man or Meteor show up," she said softly to herself half-jokingly. She pulled the silky white dress off the hangar and slipped it over her shoulders and quickly reached behind her back to zip it up. Next she stepped into the white pumps that gave her another three inches of height.

She reached for the red glasses she always wore...then stopped. "Not tonight!" Tania said with a little laugh at herself. She had her natural hair cascading over her shoulders; Michelle had told her that no one would think she was actually really Ultra Woman. Michelle had gotten the "you know who you look like?" comment all the time. No one could imagine actually running into Star Spangled Girl or Ultra Woman at some dark club.

The doorbell rang and Tania felt a thrill go through her. This was not her typical evening, and she was so happy about that, but nervous at the same time. This was definitely not something within the experiences of an Amazon warrior or superheroine.

Michelle felt a little thrill as she reached for the doorbell. As Star Spangled Girl she had fought terrible creatures, alien invasions, mad scientists and super powerrful villains, but she could not recall feeling as nervous as she did right at this second. She was going out on the town with her friend, Ultra Woman! "Tania." she reminded herself, with a tingle in places that made her feel a little guilty.

She smoothed the red dress she was wearing, a spaghetti strapped number that rose dangerously high on her thighs, silk slinking along the skin with the dress open down the front. Underneath she wore a sheer black thong and nothing else, as she balanced perfectly on her 4" heels. Her blonde hair cascaded over her shoulders and back, light make up and matching jewelry to finish the look. She knew she looked good; she would have to look good when she was on the town with Tania, who always turned heads wherever she went.

She took a deep breath as the bell sounded. She smiled widely as the door opened. "Tania!" she said as she moved forward and gave the heroine a kiss on the cheek and warm hug. "I am SO glad you are able to go out! I have not had a night off in ages!"

She pulled back and looked Tania over. "You look fabulous as always! No hiding your costume in your handpurse either! We are off he clock tonight, agreed?"

This is little story we played with for fun; even superheroines want to have fun and go out and have a normal life...even if certain Amazons feel very guilty while doing it! And, of course, they find trouble...the other part of the life of a superheroine!
